        Role Overview

        The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities for Energy Dome’s industrial-scale energy plants.

        This is a highly operational role requiring strong on-site presence, technical depth, and structured execution capability. The position is based in Milan, with very frequent international travel during project execution phases.

        You will ensure that plants are safely commissioned, tested, validated, and handed over according to contractual performance guarantees.

        Key Responsibilities

        Commissioning Strategy & Planning

        • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules aligned with overall project timelines.
        • Define commissioning philosophy from early engineering phases.
        • Ensure commissioning requirements are embedded into design and procurement.

        Site Execution & Coordination

        • Lead on-site commissioning activities.
        • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process, automation).
        • Supervise pre-commissioning, cold and hot commissioning, functional testing, and system integration.
        • Ensure compliance with HSE standards at all times.

        Technical Oversight

        • Review technical documentation, P&IDs, control logic, and system configurations.

        • Oversee performance testing and ensure contractual KPIs are achieved.

        Interface Management

        • Act as key interface between engineering, construction, and operations teams.
        • Support Project Directors in resolving site technical challenges.

        Documentation & Handover

        • Ensure proper recording of commissioning activities.
        • Validate test reports and as-built documentation.
        • Support final handover to client or operations teams.

        Required Experience & Background

        • 8–12+ years of experience in commissioning industrial plants, power generation facilities, or complex infrastructure projects.
        • Strong EPC background.
        • Hands-on experience in plant startup and troubleshooting.
        • Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
        • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems integration.

        Located in North America, reporting to the Senior Vice President, this person will have the opportunity to manage and build the North American Energy Dome growing project pipeline. This role will advance sales and development of customer and partner commercial opportunities for Energy Dome in North America. This role will work closely, as a team, with the broader sales team in North America as well as with the North American project execution functions. This role will initiate and maintain customer engagement, advance and close contracts with customers and/or development partners under a variety of structures including Equipment Supply, as well as opportunities where Energy Dome would develop, build, own and operate its own plants. This role will play a critical function in ensuring the projects reach commercial agreement through contractual arrangements sufficient to advance the development, financing and ultimately construction of Energy Dome Plants. This role should have deep energy market knowledge in North America, enough to guide the continued strategic targeting of key customers seeking Long Duration Energy Storage solutions. This role will have a critical external-facing component where this person would represent the Company at industry events, with customers, stakeholders and partners alike.

        Responsibilities:

        • Initiate, manage and advance commercial relationships with customers in the utility space, development partners and other strategics who would facilitate the growth of Energy Dome project pipeline;
        • Develop and manage customer plans that identify barriers and needs, chart out customer and project risk areas to help guide the broader team to successfully reach agreement for the Energy Dome projects in North America;
        • Have familiarity with the Energy Dome business model(s) so as to be able to initially discuss and structure term sheets for Equipment Supply Contracts, Tolling Agreements as well as joint-venture opportunities for project development and construction of Energy Dome projects;

        Role Overview

        The Engineering Director will lead all engineering disciplines within Energy Dome- approximately 30 professionals including Process Engineering, Mechanical & Equipment, Electrical Engineering, Automation & Controls, Piping & Layout, and Drafting.

        This is a strategic, managerial, and highly cross-functional leadership role with global impact. The Engineering Director will ensure the coherence, quality, and efficiency of all engineering outputs, acting as the primary liaison between Engineering, Operations, Project Delivery, Product/Technology, Supply Chain, and the Executive Leadership Team.

        The ideal candidate has a strong background in complex industrial plants or the energy sector, deep familiarity with EPC/EPCM project environments, and proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in fast-growth or highly innovative contexts.

        Key Responsibilities

        Leadership & Organizational Management

        Required Qualifications

        • Significant leadership experience (8+ years) in Engineering Management roles within EPC/EPCM, power generation, energy storage, renewables, industrial plants, oil & gas, or similar complex engineering environments.

        To support the growth of our Operations department, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, taking responsibility for our first plant in Sardinia and contributing to the definition of maintenance processes and the overall Operations infrastructure for future sites.

        Key Responsibilities

        The Maintenance Engineer will support plant maintenance activities through:
        • Defining and updating the Maintenance Plan (preventive, corrective, and predictive) in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
        • Performing Maintenance Engineering activities: interpreting operational data and identifying corrective and improvement actions.
        • Supervising on-site maintenance activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.
        • Coordinating external contractors: planning activities, monitoring progress, and verifying compliance.

        Key Responsibilities:

        • Develop and manage 3D models and 2D drawings of piping systems in coordination with the overall plant layout.
        • Design pipe routing, support structures, and selection of fittings and components.
        • Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
