Located in North America, reporting to the SVP of the Region and on the dotted line to the SC Head Office in Italy, this person will have the opportunity to develop and execute the company’s North American supplier and logistics strategy for the first project as well as developing an approach to supporting the broader North American Energy Dome growing project pipeline (scaled deployment) and product cost down plan. This role will provide guidance and oversight for the contracting and execution of engineering, procurement, and construction of Energy Dome Plants in North America. This role will work closely with the Technical, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams in Italy as well as with the North American project sales and project development functions. This role will also work closely with customers under a variety of structures including Equipment Supply, as well as opportunities where Energy Dome would develop, build, own, and operate its own plants. This person will help develop the North American group’s structure and the department’s guidelines for project execution, in concert and with the support of the supply chain and project management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Directs or manages supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods for North American Projects, in coordination with the home office.

• Develop and implement a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs – these include executing/building the first project in North America, the follow-on pipeline, and achieving the cost-down targets critical to ensuring Energy Dome’s long-term success.


• Achieves project and organizational objectives to meet domestic content goals for Energy Dome Projects in North America.


• Planning of all project-specific and North American supplier and logistic initiatives and shipments at administrative, contractual and operational levels;


• Development of Supply Agreements with key North American suppliers;


• Development of Framework Agreements with freight forwarders (air, sea, and ground carriers);


• Documentation management – customs documents and operations, delivery notes, import/export documentation, etc.;


• Relationship management with shippers/carriers up to the final destination of the goods. Material origin: China – United States – Europe – India. Destination: depending on the project (worldwide);


• Coordinate directly and often with the SVP of North America and the broader team to ensure company execution goals are met;


• Customer relationship management, in coordination with PM, for providing documentation and delivery information;


• Support the overall build-out of the North American team, including cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in the field

• Previous experience in the North American market as Supply Chain (suppliers of pressure vessels, piping, electro-mechanical and civil works), EPC and Logistic roles within companies operating in Energy (power plants), Oil&Gas components (pumps, valves, etc.) and small EPC


• Previous experience in handling international transportation (mainly land, sea and exceptional transportation)


• Knowledge of international shipping and import/export procedures and standards/documents


• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communication

Located in North America, reporting to the SVP of the Region and on the dotted line to the HQ’s Commercial function, this person will have the opportunity to manage and build the North American Energy Dome growing project pipeline. This role will advance sales and development of customer and partner commercial opportunities for Energy Dome in North America. This role will work closely, as a team, with the broader sales team in North America as well as with the North American project execution functions. This role will initiate and maintain customer engagement, advance contracts with customers and/or development partners under a variety of structures including Equipment Supply, as well as opportunities where Energy Dome would develop, build, own, and operate its own plants. This role will play a critical function in ensuring the projects reach a commercial agreement through contractual arrangements sufficient to advance the development, financing, and ultimately construction of Energy Dome Plants. This role should have deep energy market knowledge in North America, enough to guide the continued strategic targeting of key customers seeking Long Duration Energy Storage solutions. This role will have a critical external-facing component where this person would represent the Company at industry events, with customers, stakeholders, and partners alike.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate, manage, and advance commercial relationships with customers in the utility space, development partners, and other strategics who would facilitate the growth of the Energy Dome project pipeline;

• Develop and manage customer plans that identify barriers and needs, chart out customer and project risk areas to help guide the broader team to successfully reach an agreement for the Energy Dome projects in North America;


• Have familiarity with the Energy Dome business model(s) so as to be able to initially discuss and structure term sheets for Equipment Supply Contracts, Tolling Agreements as well as joint-venture opportunities for project development and construction of Energy Dome projects;


• Coordinate directly and often with the SVP of North America and fellow Director of Sales to ensure company growth goals are met;


• Host customer meetings from inception to advanced contracting;


• Maintain professional customer and partner engagement as the lead sales and business development contact on behalf of Energy Dome;


• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness;


• Management and documentation support for project pipeline activities with North America and home office in Italy;


• Support the overall build-out of the North American team, including cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10+ years work experience in business development within the IPP and/or utility space, including a depth of knowledge for large power projects and project development requirements

• Previous experience in the North American market for projects related to Long Duration Energy Storage, Energy (power plants), Oil&Gas components (pumps, valves, etc.), or Renewables (wind, solar, hydropower)


• Deep knowledge of North American markets, structure, and players

This role will provide execution management including customer and supplier interface, processes, and documentation during the development, contracting, and execution of engineering, procurement, and construction of Energy Dome Plants in North America. This role will work closely with the Head of the Supply Chain in North America and Engineering teams in Italy as well as with the North American project sales and project development functions. This role will also work closely with customers under a variety of structures including Equipment Supply, as well as opportunities where Energy Dome would develop, build, own, and operate its own plants. This role will play a critical function in ensuring the projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs, identify customer and supplier deliverables, critical path items, and key risk areas to help guide the project team to successfully execute the first project in North America;

• Obtain deep familiarity with Energy Dome Equipment Supply Contracts as well as the requirements for project development and construction of a large utility-scale energy project, including permitting, regulatory approvals, interconnection, and entitlement requirements;

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the monthly management closing process and budget reviews (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow), managing the activities of preparing, consolidating, and controlling revenue and cost data for monthly reporting, analyzing deviations from the plan;

Team leading, management and project scheduling are a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 4 process engineers, reporting to the VP Product Engineering
• Coordinate process engineering activities including process simulation, heat exchanger thermal calculation, control valves and pumps DS definition, process design, and safety review (Hazid, Hazop, FMEA, SIL, etc.) from conceptual to detailed design ensuring compliance with quality standards, project technical specification, and project schedule.
• Coordinate development of PFDs, P&IDs drawings and CO2 battery control narratives
• Provide technical guidance and support in resolving process design issues

• Maintaining delivery schedule based on project requirements and internal workloads, ensuring proper documentation review and turnaround.
• Notifying the Project Manager and Procurement Department when changes to the scope of supply might affect the order price or the delivery. Define and manage with the involved party (Customer/Supplier) the technical and commercial resolution of the modification.
• Coordinating with the Quality Department to schedule/attend inspections and expedite visits, supporting technical information when required;
• Supporting the Logistic Department upon shipment definition and preparation;
• Working with specialists from different disciplines (drafting, process, electrical, I&C), in order to achieve quality and timing objectives;

• Lead the internal team of piping engineers, reporting to the engineering director
• Coordinate piping design activities (both in-house and external engineering companies) including piping routing definition, piping support design, expansion joint selection, and stress analysis calculation.
