Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing, and we are now looking for a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our dynamic technical sales team, which operates globally.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end bid management process, ensuring the successful preparation and submission of competitive bids and related documentation for energy projects, specifically in the field of (specify energy sector, e.g., renewable energy).

The Bid Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, and develop winning strategies to secure new business opportunities in the rapidly evolving energy transition sector.

Responsibilities:

• Bid Coordination:
Oversee the entire bid process from initiation to submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather essential information and resources for bid preparation.

• Proposal Development:
Develop compelling and tailored proposals, emphasizing the unique value proposition of our technical solutions.
Work closely with technical, financial, and legal teams to integrate their expertise into bid submissions.

• Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes.
Utilize market insights to enhance bid strategies and differentiate our offerings.

• Risk Management:
Identify and assess potential risks associated with bid submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Budgeting and Costing:
Collaborate with finance teams to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for proposed projects.
Ensure that bid submissions align with the organization’s financial objectives.

• Post-Bid Activities:
Participate in debriefings after bid outcomes to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
Analyze bid performance metrics to refine strategies for future opportunities.

• Due Diligence Response:
Respond to technical and commercial due diligence inquiries from investors and partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive and accurate information during due diligence processes.
Ensure timely and transparent communication with stakeholders to address inquiries and facilitate a smooth due diligence experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in bid management, preferably within the renewable energy industry or EPCs, with specific expertise in contract negotiation for plant sale, power purchase agreement (PPA), and/or tolling agreement.
• Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using bid management tools and software.

Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing, and we are now looking for a Process Engineer to support our sustainable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial, power, or chemical plant design principles, particularly in the area of heat & mass balance, thermodynamic and heat exchanger calculation to conceptualize, model, and optimize process calculation for Proposals, Basic Engineering Design up to Detail Engineering Design.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing process simulations for the CO2 Battery system
Executing process deliverables such as Heat & Material Balance, pressure drops and hydraulic calculations, Process Narratives, and lists
•  Executing sizing and development of main process equipment such as heat exchangers, separators, pumps, safety valves, dryers, vessels etc.
Supporting the Project Manager and Purchase Department in offering technical alignment and supplier follow-up
Developing drawings as PFDs and P&IDs up to ‘as built’ level
Participating and contributing to design reviews and safety reviews (Hazid, Hazop, FMEA, SIL etc.) from conceptual to detailed design.
Participating in technology screening and assessments with reference to the latest information from industry and literature. Supporting experimental test campaigns for the validations of optimized process configurations.
Taking care of the control system and HMI internal FAT
Follow plant Commissioning, Start-up, and Performance test on site
Lead Trials and Pilots at our plants

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Energy Engineering or related field
Proven experience in heat&mass balance and heat exchanger calculation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
Achievement motivation
Planning & organizing ability
Familiarity with sustainable engineering practices and energy-efficient technologies is a plus.
Language: Fluency in professional English
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad (20% per year)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Managing the design activity in terms of planning, resources, and objectives;
  • Evaluating technical specifications in order to define schedules, document lists, and reports;
  • Carrying out and reviewing the design activity;
  • Maintaining relations with customers and suppliers as a technical interface for assigned orders;
  • Maintaining delivery schedule based on project requirements and internal workloads, ensuring proper documentation review and turnaround.
  • Notifying the Project Manager and Procurement Department when changes to the scope of supply might affect the order price or the delivery. Define and manage with the involved party (Customer/Supplier) the technical and commercial resolution of the modification.
  • Coordinating with the Quality Department to schedule/attend inspections and expedite visits, supporting technical information when required;
  • Supporting the Logistic Department upon shipment definition and preparation;
  • Working with specialists from different disciplines (drafting, process, electrical, I&C), in order to achieve quality and timing objectives;
  • Coordinating that all required technical correspondence is internally delivered and followed up;
  • Selecting and sizing equipment, components, and packages (heat exchangers, pumps, valves, piping etc …) ;
  • Define technical specifications for purchasing and datasheets;
  • Following the analysis and technical alignment during the offer phase, in addition to the suppliers’ follow-up;
  • Drawing up technical documents related to the entire project life-cycle (including vendor books, manuals, as-built documents…);
  • Perform other project-related duties such as expediting visits, inspection/FAT attendance, PIM, and Customer visits.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Energy, Mechanical Engineering;
At least 2 years of experience within Equipment Manufacturers/EPC Contractors operating in Oil&Gas, Petrochemical or Power Generation markets.

Desired Characteristics

Strong proactivity;
Available to travel worldwide;
Fluency in spoken and written English;
Additional languages would be considered a plus;
A genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transition.
